Happy (belated) Earth Day!
I was reminded by Faydra as I checked her blog last night. I suppose that we celebrated in our own unbeknownst-to-us ways. We didn't turn on the TV this morning. If we had, we would have known that it was Earth Day. I sense the irony in that statement. Also, Eli and I went to the park on our way home from dropping the big boys (Joshua and another little boy) off at school. This weekend, my husband mowed our lawn with our electric lawn mower (although grass clippings went in the trash can - compost pile is not working well). But because he did that, our backyard was prime playing ground for the boys after school today. And the finale (drum roll please).... the people from Lowe's came by today to give us an estimate on replacing our 32 year old, incredibly ineffective and inefficient windows and sliding glass door. Yay!
