When I have nothing better to do...

...or have a list that is a mile long that I don't want to do, I redecorate. I think it's genetic. My mom got her degree in interior design and is always changing things in her house. My sister insisted on having furniture with wheels on it when she was a kid so that she could rearrange things at will (and she married an architect in training). I get it honest!

Anyway. This week I rearranged some stuff in our house. There are many reasons for doing such a thing. Bull is potty training, so I needed an outlet for my frustration. We put in our dream sheet of active duty placement, so I have moving on the brain. And I just got home after a long vacation, so I saw my house with fresh eyes. Oh and Hubs is home, so I had muscle to put behind my dreams! I still have some accesorizing to do, but that will come later. One step at a time...

I also ordered 9 months worth of photos (445 to be exact) to be printed. I was a little behind. All I have left is our Israel trip (probably another 500 pictures there!). Again, one step at a time...

Here are the before and after photos:

OH my gosh, no more playroom? What ever will we do when we come over? Ha ha. My mom moves around her furniture all the time. She changes her shower curtains and kitchen curtains all the time - my whole life. And me - I move in, put everything where it goes best, and NEVER move it again. What happened to me? I did not inherit her need to change things around! But really, your changes look really good.

are you for hire? everything looks awesome! 'redecorating' around here sometimes involves getting all the toys put away at one time...the place looks completely different! :)

Due to time constraints caused by the obvious, I am unfortunately not for hire. However, if you let me bring my kids to your house and have a play date, I can help you get started! ;-)
