Go West Vacation - Cheyenne

Here's my diary from the first couple of days of our Go West vacation. More to come over the next few days!

We started our vacation today. Hubs forgot his wallet and his glasses. We drove to Hays, KS, which is just west of the middle. Quite an uneventful trip! We didn't have to stop at all. The boys are loving Tom and Jerry. They just cackle and laugh hysterically! It's really contagious. We ate dinner, went swimming and got cleaned up. We 're looking forward to tomorrow - Cheyenne and Frontier Days. Yay for vacation!

Yesterday we drove to Cheyenne for Frontier Days.

We got to go to the rodeo! It's one of the largest in the country.

We watched Bronco riding, bareback riding, barrel racing, bull riding, steer roping and a wild horse race.

We all really enjoyed it!

After it was over, we traveled to Laramie to spend the night. The beauty of this country is breath-taking. We've seen lots of cows, pronghorn antelope, and snow fences. We're staying in Jackson Hole, WY tonight.

I look forward to exploring that town later! It's only 74* right now and it's almost 10 am!
