Sea of Galilee

Yesterday we arrived at the Sea of Galilee. We will be staying here for four nights. It's nice to "move in" for a few days. We are having a wonderful time. I will post more when we get home, but here are a couple of pictures. I have taken almost 400 pictures over the past three days. Unbelievable! Can't wait to share them with all of you (some of them anyway). Tomorrow we will have the opportunity to "walk where Jesus walked." More soon...

#1 Us at the Valley of Jezreel (where the last battles of Revelation occur)

#2 the coast line of Israel from the northern most point, at the Lebanon border

Cause we're going to the Promised Land...

(insert music from Josh and the Big Wall)

We leave today. Very exciting!
Boys and dogs are with grandparents.
Last night was VERY quiet around here. Kind of eerie.
Stayed up way too late packing.
Hubs has a mid-term today. Then later this afternoon, off we go!

We will be back at the end of March. Shalom!

Spring has sprung...

...and my nose knows it! My allergies are crazy right now. The boys are having a hard time too. But we love Claritin in this house and as long as we take our pills we are fine.

In other news, I turned 30 a couple of weeks ago. It really wasn't a big deal to me. My big deal birthday was 25 for some reason. Anyway. I had a really great birthday (it lasted about a week). I got to see most of my family right around "the day." So that always makes it more fun. My mom made me a cake and my eldest decorated it for me!

And the big finale is...

We are going to ISRAEL on Wednesday! The seminary is taking a study tour for students, and spouses are invited to attend as well. The boys and the dogs are staying with my parents in FL while we are gone. I am so excited to go on the trip. But my heart is a little bit sad. I've never left either of the boys for such a long time. I think that they will have a good time though. I will be taking lots of pictures, some video, etc. I can't wait to share when we get back! Please pray for our safety and that the boys' will behave well and adjust easily. I really doubt that they will skip a beat!

Here are my boys doing their "tricks." Cute, huh?

a conversation...

Gator: Mommy, how many kids do you want?

Me: I want four.

Gator (thinking for a few seconds): That means we have to get two more light sabers.

Me (dumbfounded): Yes, as a matter of fact, it does mean that we need to get two more light sabers.
